Welcome to GBL Farms...............
|
GBL Farms is a family owned small operation located in central North Dakota. We have been raising performance bred quarter horses for nearly 20 years . The horses we have raised have gone on to be versatile for most disciplines, athletic to get you where you need to be, have willing attitudes, and trainable minds. We have sold horses to multiple states and Canada and have had many success stories reported back from buyers. Come on in and take a look around; visitors and inquiries are always welcome. We would be happy to supply you with references for purchase inquiries and we will answer your questions honestly.

~NEWS~
May 5th
We have had lots of rain in April so we should have good grass in the pastures this year. Foaling went so very well and we are blessed with 6 healthy foals. We have started breeding mares back and are anxious to get them out on green grass. The for sale yearlings are nearly shed of their winter woolies so will soon be updating their pages with new photos. Both are looking really good and will make great prospects for most anything. We have finished the barn addition and getting ready to move the tack and furniture in to the lounge. It was a long process but well worth it.
2012 Foal Crop
THE BOYS!!
THE GIRLS!!
April
Foaling has begun and the wash rack is complete in the barn addition.
February
***Update***Feb. 24th......Plumbing is complete in the barn addition. The wash rack is functional with hot water and the vanity is installed in the bathroom.....................YIPEE!
We have a colt and filly from last year's foal crop still for sale. They are both excellent cow horse prospects, handled daily and are on a good feed program/deworming schedule. The people place in the barn is progressing. We will be ready for warm wait area when foaling arrives! We have decided not to put up our 8th stall in the new addition so we have a corner unit (front and side) for sale for cost. If you are interested give us a call. Would make an excellent secure stud stall.

New prospect
Nov. 2011
We brought this new little girl home and hope to have fun with her as she grows up. She is an own daughter of Palo Duro Cat who is making his mark in the cutting horse industry despite being in the shadow of his very successful full brother and flush mate Sophisticated Catt. Check more details on her web page. Thank you Mark Williams, owner of Vision Performance Horses.
Mares are Home

Mares are home from pasture and we are just about ready for what ever mother nature decides to bring our way. The new barn is completely enclosed, insulated, and winterized. Work continues on the interior.
